Last Updated: 02 March, 2014

In some traditional schools, sashes are only giving to senior students and teachers to wear. In these schools, the color of the sash is depended on the taste of the wearer. In a sense, the color has no significant meaning. In a public school, sashes are usually worn by all the students. The color of the sash will determine the student’s level in the system. For the most part, the sash color system will start with lighter colors and ending with darker ones, such as black. This rank system is similar to the Karate belt system.
